I am an aspiring Science Teacher, beginning my initial teacher training in September 2025. I am very passionate about science and teaching it to young people. I want to make a difference to our next generation by getting them interested in Science.
6 months working at Sanders Draper School as a Teaching Assistant. During this time, would have many 1 to 1 sessions with SEN students.
Focus on recall of key definitions and concepts. Emphasis on practice making perfect and going over things multiple times to improve understanding. Whether it's low ability students requiring a large helping hand, or those looking for that extra push, I am able to change my approach and mentality.
