Hi! My name is Liz and I absolutely love teaching French and English and sharing my passion with others. I really enjoy creating a bespoke package for my students, whether that is learning from scratch, going over the basics or teaching you those complex phrases which will gain you those all important marks for an exam. I was born and educated in the UK but lived in France for 20 years, so I am truly fluent! I have taught French and English to both adults and children. I have a Masters in Education and love researching different teaching methods to keep my teaching innovative. I also have alot of experience in teaching children with special needs.
I am British, but lived in France for 20 years where I worked as a tutor of both French and English. On my return to the UK I decided to qualify as a Secondary school teacher and have now accumulated 8 years of experience working with students of all ablities. I have been an examiner for AQA for the last four years, so I have all the insider knowledge about how to gain marks to get a better grades.
I am friendly and trustworthy so that my students can feel confident in spending time with me. My teaching approach is very flexible, so I adapt all my lessons to individual needs and preferences. I take pride in my teaching and use a variety of methods that I know work, because my students at school are achieving better than their predicted grades. I provide plenty of opportunity for practice with support, so that students become confident enough to reproduce language independently.
