Students always loved being in my class as I teach with patience and understanding, but have clear expectations about the proper way to speak, read and write.

I have been studying with my tutor about three years now and have found her teaching methods extremely advantageous over other Mandarin classes. One-to-One tuition is really the only way to advance at the intermediate and higher stages of Mandarin learning as there are so few other learners at this level outside of major universities. My tutor is very good at making Mandarin accessible and real taking what could be a very dry and grammatical approach and turning it into something alive and relevant to modern China. It may sound obvious, but learning with a real and intelligent Mandarin speaker is something I now couldn’t do without!”
