I am a passionate educator who believes that every child has the potential to succeed with the right support and encouragement. Having seen first-hand the impact of tailored learning experiences, I understand the importance of adapting to each child's unique needs. This drives my commitment to creating an inclusive, flexible environment where every child is empowered to thrive. My goal is to help students not only achieve academically but also build self-confidence and resilience on their learning journey. I hold a Master’s degree in Educational Leadership, specialize in primary maths, and am a Chartered Fellow (CMgr FCMI). Currently, I am training as an ADHD coach.

Tutoring Experience

With over 15 years of experience in primary education, including roles as a senior leader and Headteacher, I bring a wealth of expertise to my tutoring practice. My background includes participating in the Shanghai Maths Exchange, creating content for two leading mathematics programs used nationwide, and serving as a visiting tutor and trainer for a School-Centred Initial Teacher Training (SCITT) centre. Throughout my career, I have worked with children, young people, and adults from diverse backgrounds and starting points, always focusing on helping them reach their full potential.

Tutoring Approach

I approach tutoring with a focus on building confidence, fostering resilience, and nurturing each student’s unique strengths. I believe in adapting each session to the child’s current level and learning style, creating an engaging and supportive environment where they feel empowered to tackle new challenges. My aim is to make learning accessible, enjoyable, and meaningful, helping students develop both academic skills and the self-belief essential for success.
