I am a friendly, curious and proactive young professional based in London. I have just graduated from UCL with an Archaeology and Anthropology degree. I finished school with three A*s in the humanities, and expect to finish my degree with a 1st. I loved learning throughout my academic journey, and I would love to help you or your child thrive on their journey too.
At school, I helped to tutor younger students with their homework.
On my gap year, I then spent eight months in North India tutoring children of all ages on subjects including English language, literature, biology, history and citizenship.
Through my university experience I worked as a 'transition mentor' for first-year students, to help them adjust to university life and academic requirements. This included teaching them study skills to be more productive (and get back some of their free time in the process!), going over academic feedback from lecturers, and helping them with essay plans for their assignments.
I am a friendly and collaborative tutor. I tailor each session to specific tutees, focusing on their particular needs and way of learning. This flexibility means that if a tutee is a very visual learner, I can break down a history essay into a flow chart, for example. Whereas, if someone prefers a session to sit down and talk through essay feedback, I am also very happy to do that!
