I am 37 years old and have been teaching for 17 years. I have previous tutoring experience and 2 children of my own. I am able to tutor in your house or mine. I am now a part time teacher so can offer day time tuition to home schooled children.

Tutoring Experience

I am 34 years old and have been teaching for 17 years. I am a primary school teacher who has experience teaching from year 1-6 I build good relationships with my pupils and adapt lessons to work at their pace and ability. I have high expectations and can generate high results and self esteem in children. I have sound knowledge of national curriculum levels as I am experienced working with SATs and levelling. I have always tutored alongside teaching and have experience tutoring maths and English.

Tutoring Approach

I believe it is important to cater tutoring styles to the individual. 1 to 1 tutoring is an ideal opportunity to devise a personalised teaching plan for a child's individual needs. I am able to work alongside existing school policies and methods to consolidate a pupils learning while also moving them forward. I believe that self evaluation is important in learning and 1 to 1 tuition is a perfect opportunity for this.
