Oxford PhD in English Literature currently teaching undergraduate students in modern English Literature at the University of Oxford. I offer English Literature classes for all students studying for GCSE, A Level, university and masters. I do not offer mock interviews nor specific personal statement help due to my teaching commitments to the university. Please see the options below:

1. Personal Consultation for university admissions. 45 minute online session and written report. £120.
2. Essay Writing Workshop. 1 hour online session. £80 (up to and including sixth form), £100 (undergraduate or masters).
3. Essay Marking. Written feedback and 20 minute online feedback session. £35 per essay.
4. Essay Course. Essay Writing Workshop & 4 essays marked with online 20 minute feedback sessions. £195 (up to and including sixth form), £215 (undergrad/masters).
5. Standard Class. Ad hoc classes on topics of student's choice. Essay marking included. £65 per hour.
6. Class Package. 5 Standard Classes. £295.

Tutoring Experience

500+ hours of teaching experience.

I teach modern English Literature (1900-present) at the University of Oxford three times a week.

I have given 1-3 hour workshops at over 30 UK schools on their Oxbridge university applications for English literature (including ELAT, personal statement and interview preparation).

The aim of these classes is to be temporary. You or your child will be pushed to improve quickly through learning and implementing specific skills. They are not intended to be long-term support.
