I have been a fully qualified A level teacher for over 25 years. I am a committed professional who really enjoys teaching. I am friendly and approachable with (my students tell me!) an excellent sense of humour. My interests apart from Economics and business are cycling, walking, playing guitar and local history.
I have been teaching “A” level Economics and Business Studies for over 25 years, so I have a wealth of experience of the subject content, exam board requirements and revision and examination techniques. I have an excellent track record on pass rates and pride myself on getting students to achieve the grades they need. I particularly enjoy working with students who lack confidence or have had their learning disrupted for whatever reason. Students will be provided with the resources they need for each topic. I offer a free first lesson.
I have a highly professional approach to tutoring. I have a relaxed, encouraging style that brings out the best in students. I like to establish what the needs of the student are and adapt my teaching approach accordingly. I have developed a number of my own techniques for helping students get to grips with the more difficult topics.
