For me, the best aspect of teaching is seeing the progress my students make and the love of learning that I can instil. I am particularly passionate about literature, notably drama, but generally I just love teaching! This is why I have gained teaching qualifications not only in secondary English and drama, but also in EFL, dance, yoga and snowboarding!

I currently live in Epsom during the week and on most weekends and school holidays I am in Hove. I am, therefore, flexible to tutor in either of these locations.

Tutoring Experience

Over the past 20 years:
- Enjoyed teaching hundreds of students in various contexts
- Taught at top schools like Brighton College
- Taught in a range of independent and non-selective state schools, international summer schools, and given private tuition to primary, secondary, university, and adult learners

Over the past 10 years:
- Head of Department at Brighton College, Alton School, and, currently, Epsom College
- Taught and led departments teaching a wide range of syllabi with excellent results

I am looking forward to returning to more tutoring alongside my teaching job after a few years of mainly focusing on my full-time positions in schools. In the past I have tutored a range of ages and abilities, all with excellent outcomes.

I am down-to-earth and positive in my approach and always aim for the highest standards in everything that I do. I genuinely care about the progress of my students and invest a great deal of energy in helping them to achieve their best.
