Kyriaki

My name is Kyriaki, I achieved an A* (92%) in my A level Law. I was chosen as the 'Law Student of the Year Award 2023', chosen from a cohort of 400 students due to my academic application, contribution in and outside the classroom, revision techniques and genuine interest I have in the Law. I have achieved the top grade in all of my university assessments so far. I have a passion for teaching as well as law and with the two coming together, this can help strengthen a students academic achievements as well as the enjoyment they have in the subject. I am a motivated and high achieving Law student looking to share my hints and tips on how to help others reach the best of their ability.

Tutoring Experience

Previously, I have tutored other individuals completing A level Law. They all provided positive feedback and they feel I was able to simplify explanations and break down complex ideas. I also have experience tutoring Piano and Violin. I have been a piano teacher for 2 years now and I enjoy engaging with individuals of different ages and different abilities. One of my key strengths is being able to tailor my approach depending on the student and being able to simplify complex ideas.

Tutoring Approach

I take the approach that the session should be student-led. The session is for the student so it's essential that they get out of it what they feel will be of material benefit for them. I do like to get an understanding for the learning style of the individual as well as what they want to achieve with my assistance. I have sample essays and revision materials available that I would be able to share with the student.
