I am a dedicated and experienced educator with a strong academic background in Engineering (PhD in Energy & Power) and Business (MBA). Since 2013, I have been a university-level lecturer in business and strategy, helping students develop critical thinking, problem-solving, and analytical skills. My passion lies in supporting secondary school, GCSE, A-Level, and university students in achieving their academic goals, particularly in Maths, Physics and Business-related subjects.
I have a proven track record of helping students excel in their studies and gain admission to Russell Group universities. My approach is tailored to each student’s needs, ensuring they develop the confidence and mastery required for success.
I employ the negotiated learning approach, which fosters independent study, critical thinking, and academic growth beyond the tutoring sessions. Rather than simply delivering information, I engage students in their own learning process, encouraging them to take ownership of their education.
Negotiated learning allows students to:
- Develop self-directed study habits, enabling them to approach complex topics with confidence.
- Enhance their critical thinking skills, helping them analyze problems and apply knowledge beyond rote memorization.
- Take an active role in their education, making learning more engaging and relevant to their goals.
- Strengthen retention and application of concepts, ensuring they are prepared not just for exams, but for lifelong learning.
Through this approach, students build independence, gain deeper comprehension, and extend their learning beyond our sessions. My goal is to equip my students with the skills they need to succeed academically and beyond.
