I am a London-based very experienced Classics tutor and well-qualified teacher (PGCE at King's in 2017) specialised in teaching:

• Latin (all levels),
• Ancient Greek (all levels),
• Ancient History (up to A-Level)
• Classical Civilisation.

I also teach English with Classics as an English vocabulary booster for native and non-native speakers.

I have a vast experience in leading pre-university Oxbridge admission sessions and supporting students in applying to top universities.

I am passionate about more modern and multimodal teaching methods with elements of Spoken Latin, songs, use of art etc while staying oriented towards the learning objectives and exam specifications.

I have a strong record of teaching Classics internationally and very positive references and reviews.

Tutoring Experience

I have 5 years of experience in teaching in the UK schools and am up-to-date with the exam specifications.

Over the last two years I taught in a secondary selective grammar schools, and top private schools, both for boys and girls (including transgender pupils).

I have tutored for more than ten years now and take pride in being able to say that many of my students achieved more than expected and embarked on their university lives or carriers of their choices.

Tutoring Approach

I enjoy catering my lessons for my students to meet their individuals needs and goals and to see their confidence grow rapidly.

I always initiate my lessons with students by getting to know them, their needs and expectations to establish both learning agreement and objectives.
