My daughter has enjoyed considerable progress in her reading, writing and maths with the incredible support from Kirsty. Each week she looks forward to her time with Kirsty and always has a real sense of pride when she leaves.

Our son is going to take the Reading school test in September. We originally started with a different tutor, but the relationship didn't quite work. Our son is quite sensitive and can be very himself, so we really needed the right person to support him.

Kirsty has been brilliant. She took the time to have a call with me to understand what had previously gone wrong before the lessons started. She built rapport with our son very quickly (which I was surprised by given that the lessons are remote) and is good at reading how he is feeling on the day of the session and adapting things if necessary. I think that Kirsty explains things extremely well and comes well prepared to each session.

Most importantly (for us at least), the sessions are fun and engaging. Our son is very positive about the sessions and Kirsty herself.

Highly recommend.

I cannot recommend Kirsty highly enough as a tutor. Since beginning her sessions with Kirsty, my daughter has made tremendous strides, both in terms of her mathematical knowledge and her confidence.

Kirsty has a warm and encouraging approach and can break down mathematical concepts into understandable segments, making the learning process much more manageable and less daunting. She really enjoys her sessions with Kirsty

Kirsty is the 'Mary Poppins' of teaching! I sat with my 11 year old, George, for his first lesson and we were both blown away by her kindness, professionalism and natural ability to teach. I now sit in the car while the lesson is taking place, knowing that my son is on the receiving end of A1 teaching. How lucky are we that she is down the road and can really help George with his creative writing and other areas he struggles with. He really looks forward to her lessons, Kirsty really makes her lessons fun and George comes away with more knowledge and more confidence in the difficult subject that is english.

I would highly recommend Kirsty. My 6 year old simply did not enjoy English, however, a few sessions with Kirsty and he is now much more amenable with the subject and actually looks forward to his sessions with Kirsty. Thank you Kirsty!

My grandson Henry loves his sessions with Kirsty. They have reignited his love of learning in these difficult times with no formal schooling.

Kirsty has been tutoring both of my children who are in year 2 &3 respectively. There has been such a marked improvement in the short time they’ve been tutored and it’s evident in the children’s work and their approach. My daughter in particular dreaded maths but now her confidence has soared.

We recently had parents evening and their maths teacher commented on the improvement.

Kirsty is warm and friendly and the children thoroughly enjoy and look forward to going for their lessons. They also speak excitedly of what they have learnt when they come home. As parents who have used a few tutors, Kirsty definitely stands out, she is excellent and very experienced. I can’t recommend her enough!!

I hired Kirsty to help my eldest son build up his confidence with KS2 maths, especially his number bonds and multiplication. Over the last few weeks I have definitely noticed an improvement with my son's mathematical ability and confidence, and having 1 on 1 tutoring has worked wonders.
Importantly, Kirsty is always friendly and approachable and this has been key to building up this relationship with my son.
