My name is Kirsty, and I live near Banchory in the countryside with my husband, 2 children and dog!
I graduated in 2002 from Aberdeen University, and taught in Aberdeenshire Schools until we relocated abroad due to work commitments. I taught in the Middle East and volunteered in school in New Zealand during our time away. We returned to Scotland last year.
As a child-centred teacher, my priority is to ensure that children feel comfortable, confident, and engaged during our sessions. We will focus on building confidence, securing the fundamentals, and then scaffolding the learning process. Flexibility is crucial, and we will adapt to the learning style that best fits the child.
