I am 22 years old. I have a passion for teaching and working with people to help them better themselves. I specialise in entrance exams for Oxford and Cambridge but have significant experience in grammar and private school exams. I achieved 8A*s and 3As at GCSE and achieved 4 A*s at A level for Maths, RS, History and Advanced Welsh Baccalaureate. I am currently studying at the University of Oxford in Religion and Theology and have received a 2.1.

Tutoring Experience

I have been DBS checked and have gone on a safeguarding and chaperone course this last year. This is now my 6th year tutoring with over 35 clients. I have helped over 10 students get an interview to Oxford and Cambridge and have had over 15 students go to their first choice school. Alongside that i have a 95% A* success rate and 99% of my students jump 2+ grades at GCSE or ALevel after tutoring with me. Happy to provide references before we begin

Tutoring Approach

I believe that a teacher can not have a "one approach fits all" stance as every child is different and consequentially learns in a different way. Whether that be game based learning for perhaps younger students or Direct Instruction, Flipped Classrooms, Kinesthetic Learning, Inquiry-based Learning or Personalised Learning
