I am an experienced primary teacher, who specialises in special educational needs as I am a qualified and practising Senco. I am also an English specialist.

Tutoring Experience

I have taught from early years to Year 6. I specialise in English - writing, phonics, reading and comprehension. I have successfully tutored my own children to pass private school entrance exams and I can also tutor for grammar school entrance exams. I can also tutor children in Year 7 who have struggled to make the transition from primary to secondary.

Tutoring Approach

I use evidence based practice and interventions to boost skills, fill gaps and build confidence in areas of phonics, reading, maths, spelling and writing. I use a fun and engaging method to assess, teach and practice skills. I have worked with children for 20 years and have a warm, positive and clear style. I personalize the learning for children based on their individual needs.
