I am a fully qualified teacher with a wealth of experience in both KS1 and KS2. I helped set up a private school which started with 16 pupils and now has over 100 pupils which has been given a 'good' with outstanding behaviour from OFSTED in which I was the deputy head teacher before leaving. I am committed and passionate about helping pupils to reach their full potential and achieving the best they can.
I have been working with children for over 15 years, within this time I have worked across the whole primary curriculum. I was the Maths and Literacy lead at the school, I was also in charge of teaching and preparing pupils for SAT’s at the school for both KS1 and KS2 and we were placed in the top performing schools in Sheffield, this year in year 6 all the children achieved a score over 100.
I believe that all children should be given the help they need to reach their full potential. I insist on the highest of standards for myself and I try and instil that desire and belief into those I tutor. Everything I do takes account of the individual's needs and to help them with any gaps in their learning and from their tailor the lesson for the pupils needs.
. I believe that actively engaging a child in their learning has a positive impact on their motivation as they become determined to achieve. I have many skills that shape my teaching. I am able to deliver information clearly and coherently.
