• With recent achievements of A*A*AA at A-level and 10 A*-A at GCSE, in contribution with a current pursuit of a bachelors degree in Economics, I have an up-to-date understanding of recent specifications and exam styles. I am a hard-working, driven individual who is interested in helping students who need additional support with their studies. I believe that students like myself make great teachers based on a modern outlook on learning and understanding of modern exam pressures. I have strong mathematical capabilities and tutor GCSE, AS and A-level economics, as well as GCSE mathematics.

Tutoring Experience

• I have been tutoring 6 clients for over a year. Students have delivered top grades in recent exams including A* at A-Level in Economics & Grade 9 in GCSE economics!

• Cardiff Tae-Kwon do: Assistant instructor (Jan 2020- Jul 2022)
  As a second degree black-belt in Tae-Kwon do, I undertook a teaching role to help others in my local club as well as to support my instructor at the time. In this role I learnt the fundamentals of teaching and expanded my ability to communicate well and use my knowledge to help others.

• Radyr Hockey Club coach (Sep 2021 - May 2022)
  In a secondary coaching role, I worked with a larger group of pupils which allowed my to strengthen in leadership and confidence- skills which I believe are important when teaching any volume of people. This position allowed me to build on my teaching skills further and provided an experience to help pupils of multiple age ranges- solving corresponding multpile challenges as a result.

Tutoring Approach

I have a modern teaching approach involving consistent exam practice from the very beginning to perfectly understand the task at hand. Having recently sat exams I have an approach of not only focusing on content abided by the specification, but turning attention to secondary factors such as structure of answer, exam technique and various methods to achieve the same solution.
