I am a full time working RnD scientist and have been tutoring since I started university in 2020. I'm passionate about teaching the subjects I love to students, who need help understanding concepts in-depth. I have a BEng degree in Biomaterials science and engineering from Loughborough University. Its quite an interdisciplinary field of science where its a unique combination of chemistry, biology, physics and maths all rolled into one course. Biomaterials are materials that are introduced inside our bodies or living systems so they need to be biocompatible and shouldn't trigger an immune response. Development of these materials are forecasting to be in huge demand for the future of medicine and healthcare. For example novel hip-replacements, contact lenses, pacemakers etc that need to be further improved in performance, to help improve patient health around the world!
I have been tutoring for the past 5 years for student upto GCSE level for maths and sciences. I am a friendly and easygoing tutor who tried to make engaging and interactive lessons and spark interest about the subject content.
I'm passionate about teaching the subjects I love to students, who need help understanding concepts in-depth. My goal is to teach students in an easy to understand way, and focusing on in-depth understanding of the fundamental concepts. As well as focusing on the syllabus, I will also try to explain concepts by giving students a wider knowledge of the subject to enhance their understanding, and create that spark of interest that will remain with them!
