With a Master’s degree in Medicine, Science, and Society, I bring a decade of tutoring experience in Maths, Science, English, and History. Embracing my inner nerd, I find joy in reading and spend time with my lurcher dog and family. My passion for learning and teaching ensures that I impart knowledge with enthusiasm and depth.
I've been tutoring for over 10 years and have helped students gain confidence in their subjects and achieve their goals. I have tutored across different exam boards, and since COVID, offer both online and in-person or a mixture. I have also a mix of student abilities including those achieving the top end to those who just want to pass. Please note that I only teach Primary in years 5 and 6.
I am all about improving students' skills as well as learning the key facts to pass a test. However, it is very important to me that a student builds confidence in their subjects and has the skills to tackle questions that may be asked of them. Wherever possible, I try to make the subject fun and interesting and even include student-led projects to build skills that will be useful in further education or in the workplace when they no longer need my services.
