I have a first class honors degree (BSc) in Psychology from the University of London, a masters (MSc) in 'Early Intervention in Psychosis' from King's College, London and a PhD in Psychiatric Epidemiology from the Royal College of Surgeons in Ireland.
I am able to help with writing skills, essay structure, and can proofread assignments and dissertations, whilst providing guidance on how to think critically when answering research questions.
I have worked on a number of broad topic areas, including mental health, psychology, social care and education.
I have worked in social services with young people aged 16-18, guiding them with their college work and helping with their CV writing skills in order for them to gain employment. I have worked abroad teaching English as a foreign language in Sri Lanka and I have experience teaching A Level Psychology in a tutorial centre in Dublin. During my PhD, I supervised a medical student during her Psychiatry Research project.
I have helped numerous students with dissertation structure, developing research questions and how to structure essays. I proofread assignments, providing insight and feedback on which sections need developing to meet the brief.
I have previously worked as a Senior Researcher in Health Policy and in the prison space, working on mixed-methods research projects. I can help with literature reviews, rapid evidence assessments, qualitative and quantitative research.
Please get in touch if you have any questions.
I am a patient person, who is able to challenge individuals with their learning in a supportive way.
