I'm a friendly and happy person looking to help people excel. I live with my partner and our dog in Herne Bay, and spend a lot of time reading novels about Ancient Greece. I can speak Japanese, which makes karaoke nights very entertaining!
I have studied English at PGCE and am fully equipped to teach at both Primary and Secondary level, and spent 6 months substitute teaching Year 3, so I have experience of all subjects in KS2.
I have taught English in Japan for five years, working with students aged 6-16, as well as doing private adult classes for people up to the age of 80.
I currently teach English in Canterbury at LanguageUK, and have had the pleasure of teaching students aged 16-65, ranging from Colombian to Israeli and many cultures in between.
I believe in a supportive and encouraging environment to help enhance the learning experience.
