I consider myself a friendly and hard working person who likes meeting new people especially from different cultures and backgrounds. I do hold a qualified teacher status in the UK along with a Cambridge CELTA and BA degree in TEFL.I have no difficulty in communicating with others and adapting myself to new areas and new responsibilities. My hobbies include Foreign Languages, travelling, music, literature and sport.
Being a teacher involves constant work to improve yourself. Learning new skills and ideas that you can incorporate into your teaching that will help you to become a better teacher.
I am an enthusiastic person who likes to learn new things and is willing to participate in additional training and activities that would help me with my teaching carer.
I have nine years experience of working as a TESOL and TEFL teacher both in UK and abroad. I have worked with children and adults of all ages. While working in China I traveled to different Asian countries including Singapore, Cambodia, Philippines, Malaysia, and Indonesia, and had a chance to fully experience Asian culture and customs. Coming from central Europe I have first-hand experience with European and western culture which I believe is very useful with the diverse students.
I believe that learning a language should be approached in a fun and interesting way. Teacher should be able to recognize student's needs and areas that need to be worked on as well as being patient and listen to learners ideas and suggestions. I always try to built up a good rapport and make my students feel comfortable.
