I am an experienced, qualified primary teacher with over 10 years of teaching and leadership experience, with a wealth of knowledge across the national curriculum. Having spent several years teaching Year 6, I have a deep understanding of the requirements for Key Stage SATs. I am passionate about teaching both English and Maths and after recently completing my Master's in Children's Literature, I now lead English across multiple schools as a Federation English Lead. I bring a warm, patient, and adaptable approach to tuition, ensuring every child can thrive.
I tutor KS1 to KS3, specialising in KS1-2 Maths and English, KS2 SATs preparation, 11+ exams, and KS3 English. Some of my 11+ students have successfully gained places at prestigious schools such as Eltham College, Blackheath High, Bexley Grammar, Cobham Hall, and St Dunstan’s College.
With extensive experience supporting children with SEN, including Dyslexia, Dyscalculia, ADHD, and ASD, I adapt my tutoring to meet each child’s unique needs. My individually tailored sessions make learning fun and accessible, fostering an environment where students feel comfortable asking questions, making mistakes, and taking risks.
By building knowledge and confidence, I help students make significant progress, and nothing compares to seeing that “lightbulb moment” when everything clicks. Providing students with the tools for success and seeing their confidence grow is what I love most about tutoring.
