I believe that every child is an individual with a different way of working that suits them best. It is up to us as teachers to find an individuals strengths and work with, and on these together with the child and with the involvement of parents/carers.
I believe that ALL lessons should be fun and stimulating, and it is not what the teacher teaches, but what the child gains which is important. This is why continual assessment should be applied at the end of every lesson. From this continual assessment I aim to move a child forward, and teach them to question, enquire and enjoy their full learning experience.
Lessons are carried out using teams so that the learning experience can be shared and becomes real for the student. We work together for the lesson to ensure that concepts are Understood and practised and then work will be given via a child friendly learning platform where both tutor and child can upload work and feedback can be given. The learning platform also allows parents to follow their child’s learning joinery.
