From a town close to Munich, Germany I attended Munich Ludwig-Maximilians-University and obtained a Bachelors degree in Sociology. An experience I thoroughly enjoyed. Through work and travel experiences I have gained excellent interpersonal and communication skills as well as adapting to new environments. I’m very interested in exploring diverse cultures and languages, which have taught and challenged me in many ways. I feel I have an outgoing and approachable personality with a good ability to communicate and connect with people in all situations.
While I may not have formal teaching experience in a classroom setting, I have extensive experience teaching swimming lessons to both children and adults. This role has equipped me with valuable skills such as lesson planning, clear communication, and the ability to tailor my approach to meet the needs of diverse learners. My open and enthusiastic personality has always helped me create an engaging and supportive learning environment, making students feel comfortable and motivated to learn. As a native German speaker who is also proficient in English, I can effectively teach German to English speakers, bridging any language gaps and providing clear, understandable instruction.
My approach is combining different elements, such as communication skills, task-based learning, interactive activities, cultural immersion and personalization. A positive learning environment is very important, so my aim is to be be dynamic, interactive, and effective, ensuring that my students remain engaged and motivated.
