I am an Oxford medical school graduate with experience as an admissions tutor interviewing candidates for the University of Oxford Medical School, as well as teaching Oxford undergraduate medical students.

I am a junior doctor and I have just completed my Foundation training having worked in the NHS for the past 2 years. I completed my studies at the University of Oxford in 2022 where I was also awarded the Society for Endocrinology Undergraduate Achievement Award as well as the Graduate Development Scholarship at St Anne's College for 2 consecutive years (2020-22).

Tutoring Experience

As part of the Graduate Development Scholarship, I gave tutorials to 2nd year medicine undergraduate students at St Anne's College - this specifically involved teaching about infection and immunity with a particular focus on introducing students to research evidence and clinical application of the discussed topics. I received positive feedback with regards to how I structured the tutorials and the constructive feedback I gave on their essays.

Additionally, I acted as admissions tutor in 2020 in which I interviewed candidates for the University of Oxford Medical School and worked with other tutors to evaluate and subsequently rank candidate performance.

Tutoring Approach

I employ a thorough approach and spend a lot of time preparing materials and reviewing students' work, providing detailed feedback. The sessions are highly interactive and I encourage students to talk through their thinking process and reach their own conclusions, a quality that I know first-hand is valued by Oxbridge tutors.
