I am a friendly 23-year-old male, recently graduated with first class honours in Economics from the University of Manchester. I love working with kids of all ages, and find it easy to relate with students having recently graduated myself. I am available to teach mathematics or economics up to university level. I am also available to teach English as a foreign language, and French up to GCSE level, as I am fluent to a B1 level.
I completed a number of tutoring placements during my schooling years. I was involved in a scheme during my GCSE years to teach year 7 and 8 children, and during my A level years, I was employed as a tutor for the 11 plus. I really enjoyed working with kids, and so I have decided to explore online tutoring.
I like to target problem areas for students, focusing on any weak spots in the curriculum. I always found that when I took time to build confidence in my weakest areas, my confidence across all areas was boosted greatly, and this is what I look to achieve. I will ask my students to identify any areas they feel are weaker spots, and we will focus on these in the early lessons, really nailing these before moving on to other areas.
