I am a passionate teacher, who enjoys teaching and truthfully excited to see students reach their full potential. I genuinely understand students and their struggles and academic needs.
I believe in working as a team with both students and parents with a view to achieving better outcomes for the students in terms meeting specific targets. I encourage my students to work hard and aim at exceeding their targets.
I have over 15 years working experience 5 of which has been in the teaching profession (both in UK and abroad) teaching children, teenagers, as well as adults.
I am also an examiner with one of the exams board. Marking A level Business Studies.
I have experience teaching the following subjects:
• GCSE Business Studies
• AS/A2 Business Studies
BTEC Business L3 Units 1,2,3 & 8
• IGCSE Economics
• AS/A2 Economics
• Accounting
• Bookkeeping
I adopt an individual approach to teaching and like to create individual lessons for my students, based on their specific needs. I use my own material, text books and past examination papers.
During the first session I usually assess students by getting to know what their weaknesses are and areas that needs to be addressed. I establish what they want to achieve from the session and then I create a learning plan according to their needs.
I give regular written or oral feedback to the students/parents so that they would know at any time where they stand. I assess students regularly to monitor their progress.
