I am a social scientist working at the University of Oxford. I have almost 15 years experience teaching and tutoring a variety of subjects and levels - I offer tuition in politics and geography, with my own research sitting broadly between these two areas.
I completed my PhD in Life Sciences (agriculture) and have a Master's degree in Environmental Science and Climate Change (Distinction), both with the University of Warwick. My Bachelor's degree was in International Relations at Loughborough University (First Class).
My current research focusses on exploring options for crop improvement in Europe.
I have taught at a variety of levels, from primary to postgraduate. I was an English teacher at a senior high school in Japan (through the JET Programme) and have tutored first-year medical students at St George's University of London. I have taught climate change impact modelling at postgraduate level and environmental science at undergraduate.
My first priority is understanding the needs of the student and making sure we have a good relationship from which to move forward. I place particular emphasis on making sure the subjects we discuss are interesting and engaging.
