I am 44 years of age, educated to post graduate level, and well traveled having lived in Japan for 9 years.

Tutoring Experience

I have 20 years teaching experience at both primary and secondary level. I have a PGCE in Mathematics and I am also an examiner for Maths GCSE, which gives me a real insight into what exam skills are needed and a deep knowledge of the curriculum.

I have experience of teaching all ages and all backgrounds, including mature students and students with special educational needs.

Tutoring Approach

I enjoy teaching and have a considerate and understanding approach, whilst ensuring learning takes place in a relaxed but studious situation.

I specifically tailor my teaching to best suit the individual student, their learning goals and learning styles.
