Hi, I'm John. I graduated with a Masters of Mathematics student at the University of Edinburgh and am now completing my PhD at the University of Montreal Canada. I completed my GCSEs and A levels with very high grades (A* in both A Level and GCSE Maths, A in A Level Further Maths, and A* with distinctions in GCSE Further Maths, as well as an A* in GCSE Physics and A in A Level Physics), and would be very happy to tutor and help with either of these subjects.
I am very passionate about the subject, with a particular focus on pure mathematics (i.e. algebra, geometry, etc.). I am currently studying with the goal of becoming a professor of Mathematics, and am very passionate helping people to enjoy maths.
Please feel free to get in touch if interested and if you have any further questions.
I have experience tutoring undergraduate level mathematics in Geometry, Topology, and Algebra, as well as experience tutoring GCSE and early high school level maths.
I like to work with my students in order to achieve the best results possible. I am very goal oriented and like to help my students understand the mathematical concepts rather than simply train them to answer questions. I believe that everyone can achieve great results and want to help people love mathematics.
