I graduated from Newcastle University with a Master's in Mathematics. I have always enjoyed maths and helping others to understand things.

Tutoring Experience

I have experience working in schools, teaching Maths at all levels from primary to A-Level and I enjoy teaching all ages. I have particular experience in teaching GCSE to re-sit students and adults.

I have been providing Maths tuition for more than 10 years, starting while I was studying at University.

Tutoring Approach

I like to encourage problem-solving and logical thinking, with an emphasis on building fundamental skills. I also try to relate things to the real world and make things fun, in order to engage students. The thing I enjoy most about teaching is seeing students progress and gain confidence and one-to-one tuition offers more opportunity to achieve this.
