Hi I'm Joel! I am a passionate and realistic tutor. I am an undergraduate student at the University of Bath studying Economics and play lots of sports! I am an approachable and friendly person who has worked with children in previous jobs.

Tutoring Experience

I was a GCSE maths tutor during my later years of secondary school, helping students from a variety of different standards (D through to A grade) achieve realistic and helpful goals. I have also been a private tutor through friends of friends with great success and patience. I vast computer and IT experience meaning remote tutoring would be successfully planned and carried out.

Tutoring Approach

My approach is first identifying where the student is with their learning. Everyone begins at different points and identifying their weaknesses is crucial. I adopt a patient and understanding approach to teaching. As someone with who has gone through the schooling system during the pandemic I understand the difficulties which have arisen in many students and believe in helping those who have been negatively affected by this.
