I'm a 24 year old Cambridge Maths Graduate and Mathematical Physics Masters Graduate, who is interested in tutoring students in maths, physics or chemistry.

I went to Twyford C of E Hight school where I achieved 3 A*s in my A-Levels (Maths, Further Maths and Chemistry) and was top of my school year in each subject. I graduated from Cambridge (Gonville & Caius College) in the Mathematics Tripos in 2021, and I recently graduated from Tübingen (a top German Uni) with a MSc in Mathematical Physics.

Tutoring Experience

I am a well experienced tutor, with experience tutoring students preparing for GCSEs, A-Levels and Oxbridge applications, with a track record of success in each area.

For students considering Entrance exams, I have strong knowledge of what Oxbridge professors are looking for, I will be able to draw on previous interview questions and problems set by Cambridge Professors for undergraduate admissions.

Tutoring Approach

My approach to to tutoring starts with the student and their current level of understanding. I analyse their current performance to see what they need in order to reach the next level. I feel that the key to making progress is to start with ensuring the student has a strong understanding of the topic, before building on this with practice questions.

Working repeatedly on concepts that can be hard to understand, builds up a student's mathematical 'muscle memory' and helps make these ideas stick. I feel that tutors should never blame their students, but look for ways to make what they are communicating clearer and easier to grasp.
