I'm a qualified Maths teacher. I live in Glasgow. Before moving here I was teaching in a secondary school near where I grew up. I'm from a little seaside town on the south coast of England. I have just moved to Glasgow and I'm enjoying exploring a new city.
I studied Maths and Art at university; my friends used to joke that I was doing a degree in painting by numbers. This was in another little seaside town this time in Wales. I lived in Germany for a bit after that; trying to learn the language and working in a hipster bike shop. This was where I started doing some maths tutoring for the first time which eventually lead to me training to be a maths teacher when I came back to the UK.

Getting on 10 years combined experience working as a qualified maths teacher, maths specialist teaching assistant and private tutor.

Tutoring Approach

I am enthusiastic about maths (I understand that this sounds alien to many people). I enjoy helping people find the satisfaction, relevance and beauty that is often overlooked.
I believe that there is no element of maths that is too difficult or complicated for any student to understand. It just takes motivation and finding the right method of explanation.
