Su Yu
My name is Su Yu ( Joanne ) Liu. I am from Taiwan and have been living in the UK with my family for eight years. I have been teaching Chinese to foreign students for 15 years. I not only have a training certificate for teaching Chinese at a university, but I also passed the examination of the Ministry of Education of Taiwan as a qualified Mandarin teacher. I am good at course planning and providing opportunities for practice. My greatest strength is patience.
Tutoring Experience
I have been teaching Chinese for fifteen years. In Taiwan, I teach foreign students to speak Chinese in many universities. I also taught in Chinese schools in Australia for two years. I now teach Chinese in a well-known private school in the UK for three years.
Tutoring Approach
I am especially good at teaching students with zero foundation Chinese. I think a lively teaching method is very important. I will set the teaching materials according to the needs of each student and make sure that they have enough practice.
