I have been tutoring for more than ten years and teach in a variety of styles according to the individual - the tutoring will be terrifically tailored. For example, I have hand-designed materials to teach the chemistry curriculum through cookery and I also bring Maths and Science alive through every day examples, simple experiments you can do at home and linking it to your hobbies and interests. Information and lessons will always be presented in simple bite-sized steps.
Together we will make revision materials, cue cards, presentations, rhymes, songs, mind maps and memory games! Most of all, I believe in the fun-factor at all times. Learning should be a lifelong enjoyable experience. Anyone can learn - you just need to find the formula for your brilliant brain! And once you find that, you will never fear studying or exams again.
Having tutored many students I know that every brain is different - we simply need to find what works for you! You do have many hidden talents and we will unlock your unique learning style. I will often incorporate mind maps, visual aids, pictures and word games to help cement your learning and I am always open to feedback to improve the process for you.
Additionally, I am a yoga instructor and will teach you how to tame the stress and provide you some motivational mantras to soar your self esteem and study success :)
