I am passionate about teaching and I feel elated when I help someone to achieve their goal. I am open to teaching at different stages as I have a PhD in English and have qualified as a second language teacher with an MA in Teaching English to Speakers of Other languages. I can teach from primary to secondary and university.
I have taught English functional skills at Aylesbury prison education to young offenders. I have also worked at Goldsmiths University as a Registry assistant during examination periods. I also worked as a PhD mentor guide to some A- Level students who attended Goldsmiths University summer school. I was also an English and Literature teacher back in a secondary school back in my home country , Cameroon. I believe I am a well rounded person when it comes to teaching experiences.
My approach to teaching is more of a facilitator and a guide in helping my students study. I will not spoon feed them but rather guide them in our 121 sessions to have a full understanding of how they arrive at certain conclusions. The lesson will be more interactive and aimed towards having them become more critical in their thinking.
