I believe the best thing we can give our children is education. I have spent the entirety of my working life living this ethos and will do so until the day I retire.
I have taught Mathematics in 3 different schools over the past 15 years. These schools have ranged from inner city comprehensive schools to independent schools across the country. I am currently the Head of Mathematics at an independent school near Leeds. I also ran a boarding house for 7 years so have come across almost every different type of obstacle to education out there. As a result I feel extremely qualified to support any family with a strong desire for success.
Tutoring must be a tailored individual process which manifests itself differently for each student based on their intended outcomes. I have a wealth of experience and resources which allow me to ensure each student achieves the full extent of their potential.
I will always begin with an evaluation session to assess whether the desired outcomes are realistic in the time frames suggested; I do not believe in making false promises about what can be achieved but would never put a limit how much improvement can be made given sufficient time and effort.
