I'm a professional drummer and educator based in East Sussex and London, with over a decade of experience performing across a wide range of musical genres. I play drums for the alt-metal band HAWXX and the Led Zeppelin tribute CODA, and I regularly work as a session and dep drummer for a variety of artists.
My career has taken me to festival stages, theatres, jazz clubs, cathedrals, and countless recording studios across the UK. I've had the privilege of recording tracks that have been featured on BBC Radio 1, BBC 6 Music, Jazz FM, Kerrang!, and other major platforms—experiences that have shaped me both musically and professionally.
Alongside performing, I love teaching drums. I work with students of all ages and abilities, helping them build confidence, improve their technique, and enjoy making music. Whether you're gearing up for an exam, preparing for a gig, or just want to have fun behind the kit, I aim to make lessons engaging, supportive, and tailored to your goals.
I’ve taught over 100 students, between ages 5 to 60! I welcome all skill levels—from complete beginners to advanced players. My teaching experience spans primary and secondary schools as well as private tuition.
My teaching approach is always tailored to each student’s individual needs and goals. With younger students, I typically guide them through the graded exam system, helping them build a solid foundation in technique, reading, and performance. Adult learners often come with specific styles or songs they’re keen to master, so I’m happy to teach whatever inspires them. I also love teaching jazz drumming to as many students as I can—it’s such a rich and rewarding style. The technique, coordination, and musical awareness you develop through jazz elevates your playing across all genres. Whether a student wants to dive deep into jazz or simply use it to strengthen their overall drumming, I always encourage exploring it.
