I'm an enthusiastic Geography teacher who is currently a stay at home mum looking after our three young children. I love studying the world around us and sharing my enthusiasm with others.
Tutoring Experience
I received both a Geography BA and a PGCE from Oxford University before teaching in a well regarded school in Oxford for 5 years. I taught the full spectrum of ages 11-18, teaching GCSE, A-Level and IB. I held a Head of Year position and also enjoyed preparing a number of students for Oxbridge entrance. I have tutored a number of individuals preparing for exams and Oxbridge interviews. I am also an Edexcel GCSE Examiner.
Tutoring Approach
I'm an enthusiastic and diligent teacher who endeavours to develop the pupil's understanding through clear instruction, past paper questions and stimulating discussion. I enjoy supporting each individual student discerning their needs and tailoring my approach to draw out each individual's potential.
