I’m a Year 3 teacher with nearly three years of classroom experience, passionate about creating a supportive and engaging learning environment. I have a degree in Childhood Psychology and a PGCE in Education, which help me understand how children learn and develop. With access to a wide range of resources, I tailor lessons to suit different learning styles and abilities. Based in Fernwood, I’m committed to making learning enjoyable and meaningful for my students while helping them build confidence and key skills for the future.
With nearly three years of experience as a Year 3 teacher, I have developed a strong understanding of how to engage and support young learners. Having trained fairly recently, I am up to date with modern teaching practices, including interactive and inclusive approaches that cater to different learning styles. My background in Childhood Psychology and a PGCE in Education provide me with a solid foundation for understanding child development and creating effective lessons.
My teaching approach is friendly, inclusive, and adaptable to the needs of each student. I believe in creating a welcoming environment where every child feels supported and encouraged to reach their potential through having a go. I tailor my teaching to suit different learning styles, ensuring that all students can engage with the material in a way that works best for them. Beyond academic progress, I focus on building resilience and confidence, helping children develop the skills they need to overcome challenges and grow both in and out of the classroom.
