I am currently a PhD mathematics student at Durham university. Recently, I achieved First Class BSc in Mathematics and Statistics (Durham University 2021-2024) and did my A-levels in (2019-2021).
As an outgoing and friendly person who has a good sense of responsibility, I can often adapt under pressure and deliver best results in all different situations. Being active in social practice and community service, I am also a capable team-player who is always ready to help others.
With several years of tutoring experience across a wide range of levels and backgrounds, I am keen to help you, especially, with Maths GCSE, IGCSE, and A level exam preparation. I am a well-resourced teacher with good teaching strategies and flexibility.
My pedagogical approach is based on the science of memory and how students learn. Firstly, using scaffolding planning and questioning skills to promote and strengthen critical and analytical thinking. Secondly, deconstructing a complex problem into smaller problems to build up confidence. Finally, I aim to create good learning habits, and encourage revision to consolidate lesson concepts through homework and regular feedback. Using my expertise, I wish to be a teacher that engages, motivates and inspires students in mathematics, so that they can realise their academic potential.
