I am 49 years old and a mum of two teenage boys. I live with my husband, sons and two cats and enjoy reading, walking and going to the theatre. I enjoy tutoring as it is a different dynamic and relationship to classroom teaching.
I have 20+ years experience teaching English at Secondary level. I teach all ages from 11-18 and am still teaching at a comprehensive school near where I live. I enjoy helping students gain confidence and make progress in English.
I like to build a friendly relationship with my students, in order to make them feel relaxed and at ease during our sessions. It is much easier for students to make progress when they enjoy what they do and don't feel under pressure.
