I would highly recommend Jane for your Chemistry Tutoring.
My Daughter was struggling with A-Level Chemistry as her school teachers were not helping and even worse knocking her confidence in the subject. I contacted Jane and after 6 weeks My Daughter confidence is restored and she is understanding more of the subject. Jane takes time to explain in more detail than Teachers are able but also to expand on more difficult areas.

Jane tutored AH Chemistry for my son who has a conditional medicine offer and ideally needs an A. She really helped. She understood what he needed and got him there. Jane tutored my son with iGCSE maths. He had moved schools and curriculums (Scottish Nat 5 to iGCSE) and he was really struggling to catch up in both the volume of the course and his confidence had been knocked. He had been used to getting 80% in s3 Scottish system and struggling to pass class tests in iGCSE. Jane had really good knowledge of both curriculums and was quickly able to identify the gaps in his learning. She was very organised with her lessons and communicated well. My son started to feel a lot more confident as the lessons went on. He has not received his exam results yet but I'm sure his grades will have increased drastically. I would recommend Jane without hesitation.

Jane has been fantastic for our son over the last few months in helping him understand and become far more confident at the more mathematical parts of inorganic chemistry, explaining concepts clearly and putting them into context - particularly for more complex unified paper questions. Her communication and flexibility have been very much appreciated, and we are delighted with the way she brought him to a good state of preparedness for his A level this summer!

I would highly recommend Jane for her tuition services. My daughter found her classes very helpful. She was struggling with Physics, not knowing how to study. Jane very skilfully catered to her needs after an initial assessment. Finding a tutor who understands each student's strong points and weaknesses and adapt accordingly is very difficult. We are very happy with our choice and know that Jane can deliver with the same efficiency in all subjects that she tutors.

Jane tutored my son online for AH Maths and 3 sessions for AH Statistics. Her communication was excellent. She was always professional, organised and well prepared for sessions. My son found her very good; she explained things clearly and was encouraging.

Jane has been helping my daughter with Nat 5 Maths as she found she had some gaps in her learning and lost confidence with the subject following lockdown. After only a few sessions Jane has my daughter to feel more confident with maths and has found her explanations really easy to follow. Online sessions have worked really well for my daughter although she was initially hesitant to try this after so much of life having been online over recent times. She finds Jane very approachable and as a parent I have found communication to be excellent.

Since starting sessions with Jane my daughter has got off to a flying start with her maths and chemistry highers. She is noticably more confident in all things STEM and this is reflected in her test results. Thanks Jane!

Jane has been helping me with AH chemistry and admissions' maths test through online lessons. I am finding her tutoring lessons to be really helpful as she explains things really simply and clearly. Great help for my daughter who is studying towards Advanced Higher Pure Maths. Alice tells me Jane explains things really clearly and the IT set up has been easy to use and effective. I appreciate Jane also signposting other resources. Alice has pretty much caught up on what she struggled with during online school but is keen to keep in touch with Jane as she values the opportunity to discuss and explore tricky concepts in a way that can’t be done in the classroom.

Jane was working with my daughter to build confidence with her Higher Maths.
She enjoyed the sessions and often said the one to one gave her that "lightbulb" moment of - "oh yeah, I get it now!" My daughter felt relaxed, comfortable and welcome having the sessions in Jane's home.

We were looking for a tutor for my 16 year old daughter during the Easter break leading up to her taking Higher Maths. My daughter had achieved a B in the prelim but both she and her maths teacher at school felt that she was well able to achieve an A in the actual exam, with a little extra help in certain topics of the Higher Maths course. Jane was excellent in that she understood exactly what was required to support my daughter and covered the areas that they together assessed she needed to help with. This gave my daughter a lot more confidence going into the exam and I am delighted to say that she achieved an A in her higher Maths. I would highly recommend Jane.

I was studying Higher Chemistry and really struggling with getting to grips with the material. I had failed my prelim and needed to get an A or B in my exam for university, so I knew I needed help with my studies. I did try another tutor before Jane and found the experience very discouraging as they didn't seem to know the level of knowledge that was required for higher. I decided to give it one more shot and thought it would be a good idea to look for a tutor who had an experience of teaching before hand and so I found Jane's Ad. Jane is an exemplary tutor who is very organised and puts the time and effort into gathering material for her students as well as relying on the material they already have. As she has teaching experience she understands the level and complexity of knowledge and understanding needed and is very supportive and patient. A thorough approach to Fiona`s Maths and Chemistry tuition with specific homework to tackle weaker areas of understanding building knowledge and confidence in the subjects.
