Testimonials:
Ian - Date: July 2020
Jamie has taught my daughter how to play the keyboard and sing with confidence. He is a fantastic teacher and helped her with gaining confidence and encouraged her to embrace her love of other instruments too. She is growing into a confident young lady and music has played a big part in that. Thank you.

I first knew Jamie when he joined the Woodseats Musical theatre Company as our Musical Director and over the last six years has become a really good friend. He is a very talented musician and music teacher with pupils who respect him and really enjoy his lessons. He is a kind, loyal, patient and thoughtful person and I am very happy to call him my friend.
Tracy - Date: April 2020
I had been thinking about piano lessons for a number of years but was worried that it would be too difficult or that my lack of technical musical knowledge was a barrier. Jamie immediately put me at ease from my very first lesson. Through his patient teaching, clear explanation and variety of simple musical scores that emphasise specific techniques and notations, I am able to pick up the notes and play the tunes by reading the music. He is even coaching me through a specific popular song that I am keen to learn. This is still all a work in progress, but after only two months of lessons, I do see improvements in my playing every week and my confidence is growing. I would recommend Jamie to anyone, old or young, who is considering music lessons.

Jamie is an excellent tutor. He's very patient. Jamie breaks things down into easier chunks which makes music and techniques easier to learn. I did not think I would have made as much progress as I have in the last few months! As well as teaching in a professional manner, he also makes lessons fun and enjoyable. It is great to take a break and forget all about the stresses of every day life and just enjoy having a piano lesson with Jamie. I can't recommend him enough!
I teach all disciplines from improvisation, song writing to the traditional grade routes. ABRSM, Trinity and Rock School etc. I place emphasis on enjoyment and fast progression for all.
I have many years of experience in teaching those of all ages, all musical styles, and all ability levels.
