I am a recent graduate from the guitar department at the Royal Conservatoire of Scotland. I have been privileged to study under Prof. Allan Neave and Sasha Savaloni in my Postgraduate years as well as Matthew McAllister early in my Undergraduate. Moreover, having been involved in a world-class guitar department for 6 years now, I have had memorable lessons from many of classical guitar's most prominent names. Including: Paul Galbraith, Prof. Jonathan Leathwood, Pavel Steidl, Steve Goss, Thomas Viloteau and many more!

I have taught privately for over eight years and I currently hold the position of Visiting Guitar Tutor at St. Leonard’s School in St. Andrew’s, Fife. I have gained experience in teaching all age groups and abilities. My students have gone on to sit graded exams as well as school exams also. Moreover, I have experience teaching in groups as part of the Glasgow School of Guitar as well as weekend classes at Haydock Music and Portobello Music School.
My approach focuses not only on developing autonomy but also outstanding artistic thinking. I focus on developing excellent technical and music ability - through simple and rational practice methods - but also critical thinking skills. I focus on the individual learner, rather than the subject - each student learns differently from me. I support musical talent as well as open approaches to learning so that they may excel outside of their instrumental lessons also.
