I'm a fully qualified Mathematics teacher (PGCE - Cambridge University) and in my first year of full time teaching. I graduated Durham University with a first class honours degree and won a scholarship award for academic excellence (raw mark of 87%). I have eight years experience tutoring students from year 7 to A-level Further Mathematics.
I am a Mathematics teacher at Chesterton Community College. I have lots of experience teaching key stages 3,4 and 5 including Further Mathematics.
I have been employed (and voluntarily worked) with students tutoring Mathematics for eight years and have experience tutoring students with special needs.
I am a patient, friendly and supportive Mathematics tutor. I have flexible teaching methods which allows me to individualise students. I have good knowledge of the examination boards and schemes of work. I quickly identify weaknesses and misconceptions students have, allowing me to tailor each tutoring session to the tutee.
I am happy to tutor one to one or in a group.
