James's Feedback

James was professional and very personable. My 17 yr old son only had a brief sessions with James due to Covid and the exams being cancelled. That being said my sons feedback was that he was patient, friendly and really helped explain what was required and how to approach a piece of work. He has always struggled to understand information as often its how its presented to him but he was really happy with James presentation and support.

I will definitely be going back to James in the future!

James is a very impressive teacher. He is well organized and prepared for the AQA exam board as well. My daughter is very happy to learn with him. Now I am requesting him for online teaching and I still feel quite sure he will do his best. We wish my daughter to get Grade 8/9.

James is professional, friendly and easy to talk too. My son has enjoyed his lessons so far and is gaining in confidence. He is in Year 7 and I wanted a tutor to support him and who could understand the best way to help by improving his knowledge and answering any questions he has. My son’s teacher gave James feedback on areas he needed help and this is working well. I would recommend James as he is working alongside the teacher and listens to my son’s concern which is so important. Thank you

I cannot thank James enough for the help he gave me during my A-Level Drama studies. He is engaging, understanding and kind. I couldnt recommend any tutor more highly.

Reliable teacher.Puts my daughter at ease with his friendly manner. Only had x3 sessions of tutoring so think it may take a while longer to see an improvement in my daughters clarity of speech but she appears more self aware than previously prior to Jame’s tutorigde.

We contacted James at very short notice, only a couple of weeks before the AS exam. He has been brilliant in his dealings with my son and elevated his levels of confidence. I would highly recommend James as he clearly has a strong grasp of what is needed and knowledge of the subject and how the exam system works. We would definitely use James in the next A level year.

James has been tutoring my son in his English Language GCSE resit. My son has always disliked English, finding the subject difficult and especially disliking the story writing part of the syllabus. James has been a very effective tutor, increasing my son's knowledge and confidence in the subject in just a few months and improving his exam technique and understanding of the marking scheme. James is patient, encouraging and engaging and I highly recommend him. Should my son be unsuccessful in his exam this time, I would not hesitate in asking James to continue tutoring him. James tutored my daughter for A Level Drama and Media, he was very knowledgable and always extremely helpful. James would always go the extra mile to make sure the lessons had been fully understood and productive, he was a great tutor and someone I am more than happy to recommend. James is someone who is well grounded in teaching techniques. He worked with my daughter who was struggling with her AS subjects, improved her understanding of the subjects and exam technique. In the end my daughter did very well in her exams. Undoubtedly James' contribution was instrumental to her success. Highly recommended!
